 The world stand up for men Who make impact Men who were outstanding  Men who knelt in defeat But rose as kings Men who made things to fly without wings Men who's ventures set them aside Men who soar above the clouds Nothing holding them back from discovery  Men who We’re laying the path for a generation That’s lacking the guidance ©Akonu Emmanuel

 The flowers growing  Stretching it's tendrils forth Under the canopy that holds all  I see how a dull grey leaf turn beautiful and colorful  You stood against the rain Fighting against the wind As I stare in amazement and wonder with each rise and fall Now the sun sets over the mountains  From the weariest of the fountains The sky's curtain open Hills creep out of their shadows And the ground gets wet preparing for a new season  ©Akonu Emmanuel

 As l lie on my bed shivery  I pounded on the journey we had together  I was so trapped in my thought  That I can hear myself screaming but it's muted and faint  Try to stop my eyes from crying  Then my heart start to  bleed Can't stop my tears falling Until my eyes got swollen Then fell asleep As heartbreaking as a rampant snowstorm  As loud as a raging tempest As broken as a shattered mirror She lost my trust and I lost my confidence  Being on my mind Thought about how carefully crafted she was Always love staring at her perfection  Hers eyes glistened  But my feelings for her no longer flow like an ocean but a turbulence  Chasing an empty feeling along ©Akonu Emmanuel

 If you are my star  my love for you would be a galaxy of constellations  If you are my light My love for you is the brightness of a new day If you are my air my love for you would be gentle summer breeze If you are my water  Then my love for you is deep as an ocean  If you are my Flower Then my love for you is a bouquet of perfume rose If you hadn't come into my life  I would never have know what love is And for that am greatful  The happiness I feel when I hear your voice errupt my heart with love What a beautiful eyes you have that sparkle in wonders You have given color to my soul  You are the drugs that put me back on my feet and the heat that warm my body ©Akonu Emmanuel

 In my heart I wish you were here with me  Walking straight ahead but not seeing anything Surrounded by the cold breeze and the faint lightening  I tried but in vain to shake off the thought of you There once was a time When our hearts were in love I reflect on your absence; within your neglect, I found peace. The suspense arises when I come to terms with the fact that losing you meant finding me The road is clear and my heart is starting to heal What an ironic that you happen to drain me Broken and devastated  ©Akonu Emmanuel

 We meet so many people in our lives but there are some people who have unique influence on our lives Lonliness is like having friends but you feel alone Heart break is hurting inside but you don’t react Sadness is knowing no one actually loves you Broken is hurting yourself and you don’t feel anything  Sickness is not being able to do the things you us to do Poverty is the ability not to be able to provide for your needs  Ignorance is lacking the right information at that particular moment ©Akonu Emmanuel

 In the silence of the night, the moon shine bright Through the echoes in the night,bring forth knowledge  Nature balancing itself  The colors of the rainbow reflecting it light in water droplets remembering us that the world won't be destroy with water The pool lies before us, Inviting us to swim The tree stands before us, Inviting us into its shade The sky is above us protecting us from sun burn The bird flying teaches us to be in balance with nature The cloud overhead showing us their shapes  Shadow walk with us reflecting our own self The stars shine overhead Inviting us to imagine The flower opens its lovely face, Inviting the bee into its gaze ©Akonu Emmanuel

 Your glamorous smile Makes me feel alive Your charming eyes Reflecting my desires Your beauty is like the sun that brightens my world  I'm still searching for the shooting stars to bright my sky Searching for that perfect shape(soulmate) that will be with me for a lifetime as we meet a lot of people in life but to fine that one person is something else I discover a lot of  shapes trying to reshaped but at the end they break apart You don't need to be beautiful to be appreciated You don't need to have flawless skin to be liked You don't need to have clear skin to be loved You don't need to have perfect body shape to be admired ©Akonu Emmanuel

 #If everything where to be perfect  Life is worse when there is nothing to change about anything  The balance in life is based on the facts that, there must be thieves and criminals for the police to remain employed The medical practitioners would run out of business if we are all hale and hearty. The legal practitioners would die of boredom if there aren’t offenders If everyone are vegetarians, Oh my!!! Guess how many people would not earn a living.  If everyone is rich, wealth would be meaningless. Who would do the laundry? Who would drive the car? who would guard who? who would keep whose money? ©Akonu Emmanuel

 Visual Acuity Random thoughts made so many images residual I heard the hum of a bee, paid no attention to its sight Ignoring daytime  What happens if we cease to dream, -Nothing will be left to imagine What happens if we give up on possibility  -Nothing will be left to fathom What happens if we no longer know who we are, -We will be slave to humanity  What happens if we are no longer invisible, -We must have gone to meet our creator  What happens if we are no longer inaudible -We must have  become deaf then  What happens if we no longer appreciate taste, -Then they is no need to eat What happens if we no longer feel another’s touch, -Then we are dead to our senses ©Akonu Emmanuel

 Walking in the shadows of my dreams The pressure of my troubled mind Trying to find an elusive answer Sun light take away my dark cloud  Removing my mind from doubt and gloom The picture of my dream I now firmly hold Working hard to make the dream a reality   And a voices start to speak not possible  Then I start to think if I will make it through the night I lie on the floor in a foetal position Anxiously waiting for that small still voice to speak  Dragging the unbelief of my life out of my room My breathing was slow That I could feel the humidity of the air around me  Suddenly I start to feel the fire of possibility stening up passion in me The boundless energy of life flowing through me I know I can make it  I know I will survive  No matter what comes my way  I will surly win ©Akonu Emmanuel

Let these words travel through your soul, and let them rest in your heart as you rest in mine Words alone will never be able to express the depth of my love for you. Hand in hand and heart to heart my love for you shall never part. Even though we are apart, my love you will never part. I’ll love the sun for days, the moon for nights, and YOU for forever. Loving you bring my heart  happiness. Rains fall, winds blow, the sun shines, it all comes naturally, just like loving you. There is no long distance about love; it always finds a way to bring hearts together, no matter how many miles are between them. You are the sun in my day, the wind in my sky, the waves in my ocean, and the beat in my heart.  They was this girl....  That walk into a shopping complex I was definitely not planning on meeting someone  It was magical at sight Felt a connection but fate played a cruel joke and the timing was wrong She was idiosyncratic, roaming  and taciturn  My canister of love overflowed Love healing all wound Without her is like facebook without friends , youtube without videos and google with no results Just waiting for fate to bring us together  ©Akonu Emmanuel

 Friends trust Betrayer gossip Isolation leading to depression  Leaving me stranded on an island of lonliness and contentment The peace of death its so damn threatening  Eigengrau is all I see So desperate to relieve pain with agony  If my solitude make you happy I'll gladly get on the guillotine Once this is over  I shall run into the arms of each morning and take in the deepest breath ©Akonu Emmanuel

 Now is the time we must team up in order to survive and stay strong  Behind every nation that have ever  succeed there's always a team  A team of the leaders and  the people Together we can create the change we want  We are one people despite our unique  differences We must unite to help our brothers and sisters to see the light  This country have carried our history  Here our cultural thrives were made The food of our homeland still sits on our table And the language of our ancestors we still speak Our colour is green and white We stand for natural wealth and peace We are one  ©Akonu Emmanuel

 Gilded weapons of interference beating Energy transfer within tribe  Kinetic traffic of war and hatred  Because my hair is nappy and yours is straight doesn't  mean we are different  Our skin are brown and yours white doesn't mean we are different  Skin lurking as a memory site for the revolt of a republican We live in insecurities and you live in peace A relic of grief searching for the creators numen The fire in our eyes burns with desire of love and prayers We are never diminishes in our life giving strength We can only change  the future if we stay together  Hand in hand we can change people hearts No matter who we are we all one people ©Akonu Emmanuel

Death takes a person from time to a timeless world People who once live now become slaves to memories  Missing but can't reach Time of memories stuck in our own mind A thousand words nor tears can't bring them back  A fresh start with your final breath Wallowing in the dark With no trace of coming back Spring make way for summer  Death make way for life Dawn make way for a brighter day Twilight make way for a darker night Silence appears in the absence of sound ©Akonu Emmanuel
