The Novel Virus We were kept indoors Dare not to venture out Because of a plague that swept over the earth Started in China now the world is sick Friends and enemies have journeyed to the land of no return The tender rote of consolation Is now hidden in the darkness of our fear. We are now united by sympathies but still divided by entities Our compassions cannot travel beyond the walls of our rooms Depression and hunger forces many out of their house even though their life is at stake Medical practitioners are getting frustrated because the outbreak is getting out of hand.
