The flower blossoming

 The flowers growing 

Stretching it's tendrils forth

Under the canopy that holds all 

I see how a dull grey leaf turn beautiful and colorful 

You stood against the rain

Fighting against the wind

As I stare in amazement and wonder with each rise and fall

Now the sun sets over the mountains 

From the weariest of the fountains

The sky's curtain open

Hills creep out of their shadows

And the ground gets wet preparing for a new season

I pounded on the journey we had together 

I was so trapped in my thought 

That I can hear myself screaming but it's muted and faint 

Try to stop my eyes from crying 

Then my heart start to  bleed

Can't stop my tears falling

Until my eyes got swollen

Then fell asleep

As heartbreaking as a rampant snowstorm 

As loud as a raging tempest

As broken as a shattered mirror

She lost my trust and I lost my confidence 

Being on my mind

Thought about how carefully crafted she was

Always love staring at her perfection 

Hers eyes glistened 

But my feelings for her no longer flow like an ocean but a turbulence

Broken and devastated

 In my heart I wish you were here with me 

Walking straight ahead but not seeing anything

Surrounded by the cold breeze and the faint lightening 

I tried but in vain to shake off the thought of you

There once was a time

When our hearts were in love

I reflect on your absence; within your neglect, I found peace.

The suspense arises when I come to terms with the fact that losing you meant finding me

The road is clear and my heart is starting to heal

Life process

 We meet so many people in our lives but there are some people who have unique influence on our lives

Lonliness is like having friends but you feel alone

Heart break is hurting inside but you don’t react

Sadness is knowing no one actually loves you

Broken is hurting yourself and you don’t feel anything

 Sickness is not being able to do the things you us to do

Poverty is the ability not to be able to provide for your needs

 Ignorance is lacking the right information at that particular moment

 In the silence of the night, the moon shine bright

Through the echoes in the night,bring forth knowledge 

Nature balancing itself 

The colors of the rainbow reflecting it light in water droplets remembering us that the world won't be destroy with water

The sky is above us protecting us from sun burn

The bird flying teaches us to be in balance with nature

I discover a lot of  shapes trying to reshaped but at the end they break apart

You don't need to be beautiful to be appreciated

You don't need to have flawless skin to be liked

You don't need to have clear skin to be loved

You don't need to have perfect body shape to be admired

 The balance in life is based on the facts

that, there must be thieves and criminals for the police to remain employed

The medical practitioners would run out of

business if we are all hale and hearty. The legal practitioners would die of boredom if there aren’t offenders

If everyone are

vegetarians, Oh my!!! Guess how many people would not earn a living.

 If everyone is rich, wealth would be meaningless. Who would do the laundry?

Who would drive the car? who would guard who? who would keep whose money?

-We must have gone to meet our creator 

What happens if we are no longer inaudible

-We must have  become deaf then 

What happens if we no longer appreciate taste,

-Then they is no need to eat

The jouney of Life

 Walking in the shadows of my dreams

The pressure of my troubled mind

Trying to find an elusive answer

Sun light take away my dark cloud 

Removing my mind from doubt and gloom

The picture of my dream I now firmly hold

Working hard to make the dream a reality 

 And a voices start to speak not possible 

Then I start to think if I will make it through the night

I lie on the floor in a foetal position

Anxiously waiting for that small still voice to speak 

Dragging the unbelief of my life out of my room

My breathing was slow

That I could feel the humidity of the air around me 

Suddenly I start to feel the fire of possibility stening up passion in me

The boundless energy of life flowing through me

I know I can make it 

I know I will survive

Meeting a girl from another country

_The dreary despise of loneliness._

_Reverberating Echoes of Yesterday Filling the humdrums of Forever._

_All that's left is Gnawing, Boredom and Sadness._

_ Like Coin to Ceasar the Dungeons Heed my Path._

_An Inescapable Terrain But not filled with Iron bars._

_Owing To no crimes, With movement Restricted._

_Or Could it be Sins from my past life that has Calmly Rescinded._

_The Plans I had Cajoled All wilting in Severity._

_From Dusk till dawn my Thoughts Repleted._

_If Only there were a King To whom I'd have pleaded._

_A Python with No venom, A Lion with No Jaws._

Our compassions cannot travel beyond the walls of our rooms

Depression and hunger forces many out of their house even though their life is at stake 

Medical practitioners are getting frustrated because the outbreak is getting out of hand.

A journey which we thought would be laughable,

But since we took the first step, it's been nothing short of laudable,

That which was termed incompatible,

Has now blossomed to be the most formidable.

I'm grateful for the gift of you!

For you stir my soul's water anew!

There's no point pretending around you!

Because my thoughts are made bare before you.

The power of Mentor

A mentor is an invaluable synergising partner whose cooperation you must seek if you wish to go far in your endeavour. He/she has the experience and has sailed through the troubling waters you may be going through. They have made their own mistakes and have learned the vital lessons they need to impart to you.THE MENTOR IS CONCERNED ABOUT YOUR GROWTH AND IS WILLING TO PROVIDE ADVICE, GUIDANCE, AND COUNSELING AS YOU GO THROUGH YOUR OWN LEARNING CURVES. The fourth is the HARDHEARTED FRIEND. This person is not like the kindhearted friend. His role is a little more difficult. He/she will not give you a gentle pat on the back and say, "don't worry, everything is going to be fine". His/her role is to give you a two-by-four blow to the head and push you to do the extra when you want to give up. The hardhearted friend is the person who doesn't pamper you, but takes an objective look at your goals, views them logically, critically and identifies any weakness in it that may hinder your progress. He doesn't feel comfortable with what you are willing to be comfortable with. The role of the hardhearted friend may not be pleasant to you, especially when you want to stop before you reach the goal. The Bible says, "Faithful are the wounds of a friend; but the kisses of an enemy is deceitful" (PROVERBS 27:6). The fifth is the INSPIRATIONAL FIGURE. The role of this person may come close to that of a mentor but they are not really the same. The inspirational figure is more like a "role model", someone from whom you glean. He/she may be distant from you, but they are solid in deeds and character, and you can't be perfect at what you do without learning from them. They serve as the ideal model for you to follow if you must reach where you are going. IF YOU WANT TO BE DIFFERENT IN THIS WORLD IN AN EXTRAORDINARY WAY, THEN STEP OUT OF THE CROWD AND DO WHAT NO ONE HAS DONE. 

Addicted to you

When sadness loomed around me you were present to pull me out of it
It was the fear of lossing something that meant so much to me
It was the thought that you can't feel the way that she made you feel
Epicness of the past can't repeat in the future
It hurts to walk around the place with smile on my face like everything is alright
I can't stand to be around you my feelings for you will just overwhelm me

I know being around you will cause me pain so I stay away

Seek the cooperation of others

     The power of cooperation is recognised whenever a group of people are willing to divest themselves of self-determined outcomes and invest their talents, will, and energy in a common direction in order to accomplish a common goal. To put it simply, if your goal is to succeed against all odds and break the barriers of tough times, then you will want to harness the power of cooperation with other people in your line of work. But you must have the ability to distinguish between those people you really need to help you further your desires and those who cannot. Life is tough enough on its own, but to go through life without the support of others is the most debilitating thing. I want to show you below some kind of people whose cooperation you must seek as you go through life pursuing success. The first is the KINDHEARTED FRIEND. This kind of friend is the one that is willing to offer you anything from words of encouragement to their network list, to even financial help for you to go ahead and pursue your dream, especially when times are tough. This is a generous friend that desires to see you progress and make it. If you are going through tough times they are there to help you. They know your potential and they believe in you so they stand by you when things are not going as desired. The second is the one I call the DIE-HARD OPTIMIST. Life, being what it is, we all get overwhelmed with challenges sometimes. You need the cooperation of this person to help you see the positive angle from where you are standing. This kind of person helps you focus on your strength and the result, rather than your weakness, your limitations, or the challenges. The DIE-HARD OPTIMIST CONSTANTLY TELLS YOU EVERYTHING IS GOING TO BE ALRIGHT EVEN WHEN IT SEEMS LIKE NOTHING IS WORKING. They believe that no matter what you are going through, everything will work for your good.

Synergy

There is an African proverb that says "If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go in a team". This proverb underscores the importance of cooperation. Every success needs the support of others. There are things you can do alone and it will take you to where you want to be fast. But there are things you need to do with others if you want to find yourself on the further road to success. In the world of success, there is something called synergy. Synergy means two things working together creating a greater impact than the sum of their individual parts. The law of synergy states that when the joint action of agents is brought together they increase each other's effectiveness. I believe synergy is what. As humans, we must learn to see each other as synergising partners.  we can do more together, no matter the adversity, than we can alone. BE SURE WHAT YOU WANT TO BE IN THIS LIFE OR YOU WILL END UP LIVING AS A CARBON COPY.

The trees blew in the wind with their red and yellow leaves falling slowing onto the soft grass
As his connection and attraction to his best friend increase on seeing her
An unfamiliar feeling arose in his stomach as his eyes bore into hers
 She could see the different Color in them and how they held so much meaning inside
His tense body relaxed at her touch and the coldness in his eyes seems to release
His nonchalant demeanor spoke volumes about his modesty, even more apparently by how suddenly he refuses to make eye contact
In that moment vulnerability was seen his eye
Her eyes briefly connected with his and his body jolted. She was mesmerizing and terrifying like a big tidal wave in the middle of the ocean where your life boat was floating in peace. She would appear  out of nowhere, swallow you whole and obliterate every sign of you on earth
His mind was unconsciously moving his body toward her. He'v never been in a trance before, but I thought this was how I felt like
Her eyes were glowing like fiery embers, beaming deathly daggers
Indeed love is like solitude that meet to protect and help.

Holy Spirit

My take on the the teaching of the Holy Spirit -------------------Akonu Emmanuel

The Holy Spirit of God is not some smoke or cloud, nor is He a light. He is not a thing! The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Godhead. Why do we call Him the third Person of the Godhead when, in fact, He's the first person to be revealed in the scriptures? This is because He's the last of the Trinity to be known by us. When you study in Genesis chapter one, it says, "In the beginning God(Elohim)  created the heaven and the earth"
'Elohim' in the Hebrew, is plural for 'God'. Then we are told that the Spirit of God moved over the face of the deep.Thus, even though the Holy Spirit is the first to be revealed from 'Elohim' He is the last Person that we are acquainted with, because Jesus have to go for Him to come.The Holy Spirit is like Jesus and he doesn't receive power from God .In fact,He is Power.
When you call the Name 'Jesus' the Holy Ghost goes into action.The Holy Spirit dose not have a specific name like Jesus but His description (Holy Spirit)and character(comforter, counselor, helper,intercessor, advocate, strengthener) is revealed to us.

Two main group of people at the moment fighting the the pandemics......

1.  The Rich and
2. The poor.

The the global irony and the African outlook......

The rich is afraid of the virus.

The poor is afraid of hunger.

The rich wants the poor to stay home to avoid the spread, but hunger won't allow the poor to stay home.

The poor fears that if they stay home,  the hunger virus will kill them.

The rich fears that if they also come out of their homes the coronavirus will kill them.......

What a delicate situation we have .........

Opinion:
In other to restore the world or Nigeria to it's normal social equilibrium.

The rich should assist the poor with food, so that they can stay at home.

When the rich succeeds in keeping the poor at home by providing enough food.

The spread of the coronavirus which the rich fears the most will be chased out!

This is common sense.....Yet because some people have the microphones, all you hear is ...... “stay at home”.......... “stay at home” .

Let me start by noting,
I just want to say that whatever happens tomorrow.   I have been deeply humbled by this journey. You have me and the excos into your homes. You have shared your stories of struggle, you have spoken of your dreams and I pray that you will make that dream a reality.

You have enriched my life, you have moved me again and again. You have inspired me. Sometimes when I have been down you have lifted me up. You filled me with new hope for our future and you have reminded me about what makes HBA TEENS so special.

There are times when I look back and I've said, "you know I wouldn't have done that if I had thought about it a little bit more.Thanks our father Apostle Dr AJ Tseye Okotie for giving me the opportunity to to become the teens president , thanks to the teens coordinators who work tirelessly to make the teens ministry a success, thanks to my excos who gave me their support to do a good job, thanks to the teens for believing in my leadership .
And I pray that the new leadership of the teens should  do great.

Government should be a single entity that is made up of a number of states systems that work inter-dependently. Each state is associated with a specific function that is important for the growth in GDP of the nation. All of these state ensuring a growth in GDP. Should one fail, the impact can extend to others and may greatly reduce the GDP of the nation for example oil in Nigeria.
Age should come with productivity. Let all the states be supply with the very things needed for her growth. And the should be a small body set up for the effective management and use of resources allocated to the various state.

Leadership is influence, the ability to move others to accomplish a goal; leadership involves birthing vision in others and inspiring them to fulfill the dream. Everybody at one point in their lives, leads. First, you lead yourself, for no man can lead others who have not first led himself. Parents are leaders, business owners are leaders, big corporations, religious organisations, unions and the government all are led by leaders. But the success of it depends on leadership capacity. Inside of us is an innate desire to lead.  We all are called to lead, at one point or the other. The one thing needed to change the world and bring lasting progress is visionary, disciplined and informed leadership. Reading books on leadership is burden for many. People don't like learning and that's why we have inept and visionless leaders managing the affairs of nations and organisations today. What really can a man do who is not properly informed on what he is called to do? We need informed leaders, men and women who can bring the future into the present, men and women who understand the issues and has the ability to get things done. Are you a leader, or do you aspire to be an effective leader? Then you must unlearn to learn master keys and principles that you need to make you a radical and effective leader in the modern world . There are thousands of books you can access that teaches timeless principles of leadership that will give you an edge over others.        Persistence is the quality that makes someone to continue to do something even though it is difficult and opposed by others. It is perseverance. The story of the widow is an interesting picture of a persistent person. She had an issue with another person and needed someone (this time a judge) to defend her. She tried severally to get the attention of the judge but to no avail. She didn't stop, she kept knocking on the door of the judge until one day, the judge decided to give her audience. She refused to stop knocking. She persevered till she got answers from the judge. There are people or places you want to go to for assistance this season, keep knocking on their doors until they give a listening ear. Don't stop for any reason. Surely there will be opposition from people or difficulties on the way, but you cannot return back without an answer. That is persistence, not giving up on something until you get the results. In a long distance race, only those who run till the end are regarded. At times, some runners want to give up half way but they are encouraged to continue. Life is like a long distance race, only the persevering can get to the end. You cannot give up too soon, the answer is ahead of you. Go for it, don't be deceived and don't give in to discouragement. Friendship is important by Akonu Emmanuel

       Every body needs somebody. We are created for relationship, not born in isolation. As every part of the human body needs each other to survive, so we as humans need one another to survive. My friend, you cannot live life alone because what you want is in the hands of another person. We are connected by creation. We are one, though diverse in nature and location. Somebody said in a song: "we all need somebody to lean on". The paralytic was carried by four men (obviously they were his friends) to come to the presence of Jesus Christ. See the effort they put to get this man healed from his affliction. Now, let's assume he had no friends, nobody to carry him to meet Jesus, what do you think would have happened? Of course nothing, he would have remained a paralytic for the rest of his life. Reach out to your friends today, you need their help, call them. Don't be ashamed or proud to say you don't need anybody's assistance. You need somebody to connect you to somebody who have what you desire. What are friends for? Don't die in silence and pain, cry out for help, seek the goodwill of friends, make yourself available for help. We all need somebody to lean on, to carry us to our next level.

Marriage is supposed to be a blessing and not a curse. But the situation today is a cause for concern, it's as if marriage is something to be dreaded. You see, the keys (principles) that will make marriage work is revealed in the letters that make up the word marriage (M.A.R.R.I.A.G.E). The first letter M stands for MONEY: money plays a important part in the home. It is with money you pay bills, provide comforts and meet necessary obligations etc. The lack of money is causing so much tension in the family today.  Secondly, the letter A stands for AFFECTION (the feeling of liking and caring for someone). Thirdly, the letter R is for RESPONSIBILITY (what you are expected to do because it is morally right and legally required). The other letter R is for REMEMBER (to keep in your mind the reasons and purpose for saying yes to the relationship). If you feel like quitting, remember the good times, the love you shared and lovely moments in the past. The letter I is for INTIMACY (closeness, warmth and sexual relations). Then A is for AGREEMENT (a situation where both parties agree to a thing, share the same opinion and decide on a course of action). Agreement will cause increment in any relationship. Of course G is for GOD. God's presence and wisdom is what guarantees peace, protection and progress in a marital union. Finally, the letter E. which stands for ENJOYMENT. Marriage is meant to be enjoyed, not to be endured. It is not supposed to be a prison but a palace, not something to be regretted but a thing to be appreciated.

Many today are also asking for information for what to do to succeed in life, nobody wants to fail. Now, I want you to know that success is a process, there are series of actions you need to take to arrive at the top (success).
Firstly, the man who desires to succeed must have a VISION (a mental picture of your preferred future; what you see in your mind's eyes; your set goals, your pursuits and ambitions etc). It all starts with a vision. Vision (what you see) will create a burden that will translate to ambition which will set you on a mission to fulfill your purpose. Secondly, the one who desires to succeed must have knowledge - what you know, qualifications, skills etc - because a man's gifts makes a way for him. Thirdly, the man who desires success need connections (people that matters, friends and associates). Then, if you will make it in life (succeed) you need to be a diligent worker, because how you work, the seriousness and efforts you put into your work matters to your achievements.

The Necessity of Friends by Akonu Emmanuel

 A friend is someone you know and to whom you show affection and loyalty; a close intimate acquaintance, an ally. Do you really need a friend (or friends)? Yes. These are some reasons why you need friends:
(a.) You need affirmation (people who can give witness about you positively).
(b.) You need the assistance of others (both moral and material help).
(c.) Your life will accelerate by the wisdom, counsel and encouragement of others.
(d.) You also need assurance (the security, confidence that they are there for you).
This is the golden rule of friendship: encourage your friends (you also expect to be encouraged); appreciate your friends for whatever good thing they did for you; forgive your friends for offences committed against you (it is to be expected, your friends will hurt you); pay attention to your relationships, don't treat friendship with levity, do not say it is not important to pay attention to; be an understanding friend too.
PLEASE NOTE: Grab every opportunity that comes your way to make good friends. And cultivate, nurture your friendships. WE ALL NEED PEOPLE TO AFFIRM AND ASSIST US IN OUR TIMES OF NEED. THEY NEED US TOO. BE A FRIEND INDEED.

Some  many people today desire to succeed but can not get things right, why? Listen. You cannot succeed if you have no set goals (what you want to achieve). If you have no definite plan on how to get things done, how can you succeed? Again, a lot of people have no usable information to work with. Many are devoid of passion and are not sensitive to opportunities when they come. And many people are living in a state of disobedience and unfaithfulness (which are destructive attitudes). Then this one, there are people with the wrong notion that if God wants you to succeed, you will, even if you don't have goals, plans and work for it. It's a lie. God wants you to prosper but you must have a workable action plan to succeed.

Stress is harmful  by Akonu Emmanuel

        Stress is the "pressures caused by anxieties and worries as a result of problems associated with everyday living etc". Stress has many causes:
A. It can be caused by financial troubles (lack of money to meet daily needs).
B. It can be caused by family troubles (between spouses, parents and children and in-laws too).
C. It can be caused by protracted negative conditions (problems that seem unsolvable). D. It can be caused by life threatening occurrences too (threats like the one experienced by the prophet Elijah).
E. Stress can be caused too by exacting jobs (work that task you, takes your time and energy etc).
Stress affects you psychologically depression, despondency, disorientation (anger, confusion, frustration, aggressiveness etc). Secondly, it affects you physiologically: tiredness, sleeplessness, aloofness, high blood pressure, loss of appetite, sexual dysfunction, drop in productivity etc.
How to come out of stress-related situations:
A. Talk to somebody (unburden yourself).
B. Relax yourself (things are not as bad as they seem).
C. If necessary, take medication for the physiological ailments associated with it).
D. Take a break, go on vacation, mix with others and forget thyself.
E. And if it becomes necessary, break out of that stress-inducing condition, you don't have to die to prove any point. F. Encourage yourself by reading faith books, listen to good music, do some exercises like jogging, swimming, bicycling etc. Stress is a killer, fight it.

         You are what you think, remember? If you want to change your life, you want to change your circumstances, you want to change your destiny, yes you can, just by changing the way you think. You change the way you think by controlling what goes into your mind. The outside stimuli that surround you each and every day affect your thinking and directs the circumstances of your life. The easiest way to change your thought patterns is to feed your mind with new and positive stimuli that can influence your thinking and move your actions in the directions you desire. You must cultivate the discipline of feeding your mind daily with good, clean, pure, powerful and positive things. You do this by listening to something inspirational and uplifting like good music, self development tapes, and being around positive minded people. Try to avoid all major sources of negativity. You have a choice as to what stimuli go into your mind. Note that the quality of your thoughts determines the quality of your life. You most certainly will become whatever you consistently think about. You possess the power to think about yourself whatever you choose. You are the one who has complete responsibility over your thoughts at each moment. You will retain total mastery of your life when you can control how you act or react to all thoughts, positive or negative, taking place in your mind at all times. Think positive, stimulating thoughts and your circumstances will change in a new and better direction.

If we must achieve those things, goals, that we have set for ourselves, then it is a must that we believe in ourselves. Self-belief is faith, faith in yourself and faith in the successful outcome of your desires etc. Self-belief is the foundation stone for every progress made by mankind. If we believe we can, we can. All of your desires can be attained if you will only believe in their eventual outcome. Self-belief is the determination and energy to follow through until your desires successfully materialize. The one thing that will guarantee the completion of any task is the belief that it can be done. Self-belief is what successful people live by, an inner supreme confident belief that unites faith with zealous action to make the seemingly impossible become reality. The most difficult part of achieving success is believing that you can succeed. If you do not truly believe that you can do something, then you won't give the necessary committed effort. Self-belief is a catalyst, bold, confident self-belief triggers the mind into looking for ways and means for making your dreams come true. I can do it is a very powerful statement. Believe that you can do something and you will most certainly accomplish it.

Laughter and joy have flew out of the heart of many as a result of the present economic and social distress in the land. The art of being happy involves your laughing at trouble as soon as possible after they arise. One individual involved in a major trouble may resist being happy for a long time, while another may decide after a short period that it is time to stop crying and begin to rebuild his life. Every person on planet earth suffers misfortunes, disappointment and ill luck. No one is immune from disease and disaster, but happy and optimistic people choose to avoid waiting too long to see the good and bright side of life. They decide to bounce back and get on with living their lives to the full. Choose to be a delighted, cheerful and contented person with joy in your heart and a radiant smile on your face. Do not get to the end of your life and discover that you have only lived a half of it. Rejoice and enjoy life now and avoid going to the grave with your unsung music still inside of you. Choose to be happy.

Don't be scared of Anything by Akonu Emmanuel

       A young man was talking with me sometime ago, he said that he wanted a wife and there's this particular sister he truly believed would make a good wife for him. The problem is he does not have the boldness to speak to her. Why, you may ask? She looks so sophisticated and confident. The fear was if he asked her hand in a relationship, she may reject him outright, and that will make him feel bad (male ego?). My response was why not give it a try, no harm in trying. You see, there are so many out there who desires a thing but are afraid to take the necessary steps to achieving their goals. The fear of failure I call it.Those who succeed today are the people who dare to take the risk. Is there something you desire and you are afraid of failure? Give it a try, who knows you may not fail but succeed instead. Those who fear to take risks will one day discover that risk-taking is a necessary step to achieving life's goals. Don't be afraid to try, there's no harm in trying. The future belongs to those who are willing to take risks.

The order of life commands that all clearly defined, specific intentions backed by commitment will come to manifestation. A specific, clearly defined intention is a goal. Ensure that your goals are clearly defined and specific. Goal-setting is an action that is essential to the pursuit of success. Truth is, setting a goal is the single most important positive action that you can take toward the attainment of your dreams and aspirations. Success is the progressive achievements of your stated goals. Goal-setting produces in you a strong desire, intense belief, profound self-confidence and solid commitment to follow through with persistent action toward the accomplishment of your goals. Awesome and compelling goals can help an individual do and achieve incredible things in life. You need an inspirational motive for accomplishing goals, a motive strong enough to push you into action. If you have a bold objective, you can achieve incredible things. A dynamic aim will change your whole direction and focus. Napoleon Hill said: "A person without definite major goals is as helpless as a ship without rudder". So true. Set big goals, something bigger that you cannot fail to see. To set big goals is stimulating, inspirational and challenging. Big goals will stretch your limits, but your limits are boundless and will continue to expand as long as you are always advancing towards the achievements of your goals.
